Nuodle @ Sing Post Centre

Nuodle is on the 1st floor at Sing Post Centre in Paya Lebar. Although I heard that that’s very popular and sometime there is a long que , it wasn’t very crowded on weekdays afternoon. It’s good for me, honestly I don’t like long que.
At first I kept the table and ordered at right side counter and received it left side counter. I had small beef la mian $8.5 and add $3.5 drink and cucumber pickles. It wasn’t quite different from Japanese ramen, but really delicious. They served freshly noodle, and soup was nice. If you like spicy, you can add their original spicy paste, it’s also good. I can’t wait to eat it again. Thanks.

Dim Sum Haus@ Bendemeer

Did you get off the MRT at Bendemeer. It’s beside on the Jalan Besar and you can get some tasty. Dim Sum Haus is one of them, there’s across on the street. Since this stall is new , I can take my children. My kids don’t like old and open air stall, even it’s delicious.
Anyway this dim sum restaurant is clean and bright. It’s comfortable for me. I had some ordinarily dim sum dishes. Everything was good and reasonable price, expected impolite shoppers. If you don’t care of that, I definitely recommend this place. Thanks.

Cafe de Pari’s@313Somerset

Have you seen Cafe de Paris post recently? I sometimes saw them on blog, Instagram.., it’s lovely fruit bonbons. I couldn’t wait to eat, so I went.
There was on the basement 1 and I went there on weekdays afternoon , there weren’t a lot of customer in there. I ordered strawberry $17.8, after ordered,  the shopper cut the fruit to prepare. Look at the beautiful bonbon. They made it with Korean strawberry, the colour wasn’t good but sweet. I took a lot of photos , their table and chairs also cute. Thanks.

Founder Bak Kut Teh@ Balestier Rd

OMG, I’m tired of writing about Balestier Rd, there are so many interesting stalls. I couldn’t visit all of them 1day.
Founder Bak Kut Teh is one of the famous Bak Kut Teh in Singapore. There are some branches, and  here is a Original one.There are a lot of photos on the wall, perhaps the founder and famous people.
The Bak Kut Teh was a little spicy, it was as good as Song fa and other stall. In my opinion, 333 is the best one, 2nd is Song fa as of now. Thanks.

333 Bak Kut Teh

I like BAK Kut Teh, but almost them are hot for me. I tried Song fa and Ya Hua one, it certainly delicious, and I’m looking forward to non spicy one.
333Bak Kut Teh was served nice one. It was yummy and not so spicy. The stall is beside on Balestier Rd, and amazingly, when you get off the bus, you can get there immediately. Out side tables were closed to bus stop. I heard it opened 24h, very convenient! Thanks.

Mellower coffee @ Bugis

Suddenly I want to eat cotton candy. In Japan, I can eat it easily, at family restaurant, festival etc. Finally I found it in some Instagram. Perhaps it’s a hipster cafe...make a brave try.

Mellower coffee is beside on the Victoria Street, next to Bugis+. You can use second floor and they have a lot of cozy seats. Of course I had cotton candy with coffee named “ sweet little rain “ $9.8.
It’s amazing, how creative this coffee is. Though I hadto wait until the cotton candy were melt, I enjoyed them separate. The coffee was strong and flavourful. It’s better to add milk. The cotton candy was good! Thanks.

Co Hai Banh Mi@ Beach Road

I had never tried Banh Mi before I came to Singapore. It’s a Vietnamese sandwitch which is made of  baguette and some herb,  meat , vegetable. The baguette is different from European one, it’s made from wheat flour and rice flour. That texture was more crispy. So I’m hooked on it and I heard about good Banh Mi stall was beside Beach Road.

I tried co hai baguette $10, inside was ham, roasted pork, pate, and vegetable. Though the price was high, taste was really good. I love this baguette, it had  crispy texture.
I also tried pho, it’s a rice noodle with beef soup $8.9.  This was good. But I don’t have many experience about pho, so I can’t compare other pho.

Chen’s Mapo Tofu@ Downtown Gallery

Have you ever tried Mapo tofu at Shisen Hanten in Mandarin Orchard? No, I haven’t, but it quite famous here and Japan. And it got Michelin star, I’ve wanted to eat. I heard a good news, they opened a pocket friendly new stall. 

There’s on the 2nd floor in Downtown Gallery. I paid at front desk and received number, the waitress took us the table, and I got food at counter.

I had set meal $10.8, half Mapo don and dried Dan Dan Mien . They were hot and spicy! I couldn’t eat it all. But it was probably good taste . And I also had Katayaki. It’s a deep fried noodle with seafood. It was delicious! If you don’t like spicy food, you should try this.

This stall was not fancy, but I could have great food for casual.

Jalan Sultan Prawn Mee@Kallang

Nowadays I’m looking for good prawn mee, I heard that there’s a nice prawn mee stall near Kallang MRT station, so I went.

It’s across the MRT station, I got there easily. I had Sultan Prawn Mee $10 dry and soup. There were 4 prawn on the noodle and the prawn was treated to easy to eat. I felt strong prawn flavour and I liked this type of prawn mee. This is one of the prawn noodle I like best.

Tea Lounge @ Regent Hotel

Hello, how’s your day. I’ve been busy since last week. Because my friend will have return to Japan , so I gave her a farewell party.

In October, there is 1 for 1 promotion of introductory new afternoon tea at Regent Hotel. I got this offer. The usual place is $48++ /person. Including 2kind of beverages and 3tier food and one dessert plate.

I had an earl gray and  caffe latte and I chose  “Golden Apple “ for dessert. Several finger food were on 3tiers, everything was delicious. Service was also nice, environment was good, there’s only one problem ..it was cold. You should wear long sleeve. At last, I had a Golden Apple which made from candy . It looked so beautiful, and some fruit and cream were stuffed it. I really  impressed it.
Totally it was nice afternoon tea set, but I don’t want to eat it for $48++. The figure was little too high for me.

MTR @ Farrer Park

Do you know MTR, it's not MRT. Mavali Tiffin Room , for short MTR.
I want to eat Dosa and I went there for lunch. I had plain Dosai $5 and Mango Lassi $5. I ordered and paid money first at counter, then received a ordered card and sit a table. 
The tables were almost full, various nationalities customers were there. The freshly baked Dosa was served with 2 of curry sauce. It was yummy! Crispy and inside was soft. Amazing! I found my best Dosa. Thank you!

Paradise dynasty @ Ion Orchard

Hello, how was your holiday. It was beautiful day today.

I had beautiful Xiao Long Bao at Paradise Dynasty in Ion Orchard. It was visually colourful and beautiful and very good taste. I got a card which was explained each colour of Xiao Long Bao. There were cheese, truffle, ginseng, garlic, crab ror, four gras.., they were all good taste. I also had noodle, fried rice, bun, dessert. They weren't so expensive and really yummy.

I definitely recommend this restaurant to my Japanese Friend. Thanks.

Hello, I chilled out today and I really relaxed. I love my sofa, I can't move on the sofa.
I'll tell you about cute cafe at Tiong Bahru.

I found this cafe on web, and I want to eat Galaxy cake. It is beautiful blue cake like galaxy. But I couldn't eat it,even though it was just noon galaxy cake was already out of stock...
It was so disappointing things for me. Anyway I had another cake, I forgot the name , white one and similar to the galaxy cake. It was $8, you know, here is Tiong Bahru not Orchard. It was little pricey. The cake was yummy, I realised that it was nice to instagram. Thanks.

Prima tower @ Keppel road

Hi, how are you doing?
GSS has started since 9th June, I feel like shopping in these days.

I had dim sum lunch at Prima tower. It's on the top floor and revolving. But the building was very old and located in warehouse. On the top floor, We could see great view. Sentosa, Mt. faber, Reflections, sky scraper! Though I went there on daytime, night seeing would be good.

Dim Sum and price were pretty good. It's worth a try.

Tsujiri @ The Centrepoint

Do you know Tsujiri in Kyoto? There are 3 outlets in Kyoto and one in Tokyo. There is Long que every time, so I didn't go there. I want to have matcha sweets in there someday.

...? I found it at The Centrepoint in somerset, there was no que....is that same store??

I checked it, oh it's different. It is from Kokura in Fukuoka prefecture. It's OK, I didn't mind that.

I had Shiratama Parfait and Ssiratama Kinako, I forgot their price. Those were authentic matcha taste and yummy. I disappointed that there were few table and chairs were hard and uncomfortable.

Penang Yong Kee @ Tangs Market

I couldn't say "Char kuey tiao", I didn't know right pronunciation. Anyway, I got that at Penang Yong Kee $5. It was also small portion, but extremely good. Maybe I had this 2 times at another stalls, I thought it was like Yakisoba and so-so. But I was wrong, Char kuey Tiago is yummy food, and definitely different from Yakisoba. Thanks 🙏

85 Redhill Teochew fishball noodle @ Tangs Market

Hi, it was pouring rain this morning.
In these days I often go to Tangs Market. Though it's a small food court, there are some nice stall.
I had a fishball noodle @ 58 Redhill Teochew fishball noodle $4. I've had it at Food Opera and it was not so good, little bit smelled fishy.
In this time, the fishball was excellent, freshly and good taste. But it was a smal portion. So you can try another dishes!

The landing point @ The Fullerton bay

I had high tea at the landing point in the Fullerton Bay hotel.
It was $45++. We had 3 layers dishes and it could refill. There were almost hydrocarbonates , I wanted to eat some fruits. Only few table have MBS view and There is narrow space to next seat. I couldn't relax.

四川豆花飯店

Hello, these days it becomes very hot. I like here but I don't like hot season.

I had Imperial High Tea at Sichuan Dou Hua UOB plaza. The price was $30++/person. I had 3 kinds of tea and siew-mai , prawn dumpling, deep-fried spring roll, Dam Dam noodle, and so on. Each portion was small, but everything were good taste. And tea fragrance was nice. I really enjoyed imperial high tea. But I had only one problem. Though there is on 60F of UOB Plaza , High tea customers couldn't have a table by window. When I visited, all table by window were vacant, I asked them, but I couldn't. It is just bad thing. Thanks.
