Tea Lounge @ Regent Hotel

Hello, how’s your day. I’ve been busy since last week. Because my friend will have return to Japan , so I gave her a farewell party.

In October, there is 1 for 1 promotion of introductory new afternoon tea at Regent Hotel. I got this offer. The usual place is $48++ /person. Including 2kind of beverages and 3tier food and one dessert plate.

I had an earl gray and  caffe latte and I chose  “Golden Apple “ for dessert. Several finger food were on 3tiers, everything was delicious. Service was also nice, environment was good, there’s only one problem ..it was cold. You should wear long sleeve. At last, I had a Golden Apple which made from candy . It looked so beautiful, and some fruit and cream were stuffed it. I really  impressed it.
Totally it was nice afternoon tea set, but I don’t want to eat it for $48++. The figure was little too high for me.

Hi, Happy Monday.
I had a nice lunch set at Heijoen. There's on the 4th floor Wisma Atria. Though I've been there at lunch time, I didn't had great lunch set like this time. OK, I had $16.9++ Lunch set and It limited 15. Included Salad, Kimchi, Bibimbap, Soup, 4kind of meat, and dessert, free flow corn tea. I think it's a good deal. Their service was also nice and polite. If you want to have this great lunch, you should go there before 12:00pm.

Sanpoutei@Isetan scots

I've wanted to go to Sanpoutei. I usually saw that there was que when I went to Isetan.
I arrived there at 12:30, and I wait 15min. I had Mazesoba. It was little salty, but not so bad. Their service was really nice, I was amazed that their water wasn't tap water, perhaps it's bottled water.

Paradise dynasty @ Ion Orchard

Hello, how was your holiday. It was beautiful day today.

I had beautiful Xiao Long Bao at Paradise Dynasty in Ion Orchard. It was visually colourful and beautiful and very good taste. I got a card which was explained each colour of Xiao Long Bao. There were cheese, truffle, ginseng, garlic, crab ror, four gras.., they were all good taste. I also had noodle, fried rice, bun, dessert. They weren't so expensive and really yummy.

I definitely recommend this restaurant to my Japanese Friend. Thanks.

Seoul yummy @ Ion Orchard

Hi, happy Monday.
I didn't feel like going out today. Every day hot and muggy, I really like inside.

Last Friday, I had lunch at Seoul Yummy @ Ion Orchard. There were a lot of set lunch, like noodle, hot pot and fried rice. I was excited to choose because those were all my favourite. I tried Set A, tender beef slice, potato pan cakes, salad, korean seaweed rice with sunny side up egg. $9.9++. I wanted some soup, but it wasn't. Anyway it was so so. But I think, It was convenient that I could have such casual Korean food in Orchard. Thanks.

Tsujiri @ The Centrepoint

Do you know Tsujiri in Kyoto? There are 3 outlets in Kyoto and one in Tokyo. There is Long que every time, so I didn't go there. I want to have matcha sweets in there someday.

...? I found it at The Centrepoint in somerset, there was no que....is that same store??

I checked it, oh it's different. It is from Kokura in Fukuoka prefecture. It's OK, I didn't mind that.

I had Shiratama Parfait and Ssiratama Kinako, I forgot their price. Those were authentic matcha taste and yummy. I disappointed that there were few table and chairs were hard and uncomfortable.

Penang Yong Kee @ Tangs Market

I couldn't say "Char kuey tiao", I didn't know right pronunciation. Anyway, I got that at Penang Yong Kee $5. It was also small portion, but extremely good. Maybe I had this 2 times at another stalls, I thought it was like Yakisoba and so-so. But I was wrong, Char kuey Tiago is yummy food, and definitely different from Yakisoba. Thanks 🙏

85 Redhill Teochew fishball noodle @ Tangs Market

Hi, it was pouring rain this morning.
In these days I often go to Tangs Market. Though it's a small food court, there are some nice stall.
I had a fishball noodle @ 58 Redhill Teochew fishball noodle $4. I've had it at Food Opera and it was not so good, little bit smelled fishy.
In this time, the fishball was excellent, freshly and good taste. But it was a smal portion. So you can try another dishes!

Bari Uma @ Tanglin shopping centre

The Tanglin shopping centre is old shopping mall, there are some oriental carpet shop and money changers and beauty salons. I seldom go there and I didn't know this Ramen shop named Bari Uma. First, I thought that it was Singapore style japanese Ramen. But I was wrong. It was authentic Tonkotsu Ramen. It comes from Hiroshima and Bari Uma means absolutely delicious!
I had Shio Tonkotsu, it was "Bari Uma"! I couldn't imagine I could eat such delicious ramen in abroad. That's amazing. Thanks.

Nam Kee 南記 @The Centrepoint

I often saw that people made que at Nam Kee at Orchard Centre Point B1. I was interested there, so I went. I guessed that signature were pao and noodle, I had AMY YIP PAU $4, Koka noodle $3.5.
The pau was very big! When I cut it, I was surprised that the inside was juicy. Koka noodle was also good, but almost customers ordered Mee Hoon Kway. It looked nice, I tried it next time.

HWE Heng Beef Noodles@ Food Opera Ion

I've been trying to complete all Food Opera stalls. And today's post was one of them. HWE Heng Beef Noodle was not conspicuous. I had dry Beef noodle $6.0. The sliced beef was tender and delicious.  The sauce was thick and salty. This dish was so-so. Thanks.

AR Shukey service @ Lucky Plaza

Unfortunately the zipper of my wallet was broken. I couldn't fix it. When some problems happen , I usually go to Lucky Plaza. So I found the AR shukey service . They can fix key, shoes, bag, and can clean it up. My wallet was fixed $12 about 10min. Good job! Thanks.

Thunder tea rice @ Show house B1

I forgot the name of stall, there was inner part of food republic in show house. I had a thunder tea rice with brown rice there. To eat that,  it was second time for me. My 1st time was Lau Pa Sat, compare to that, Food republic one was fewer ingredients. And soup was less bitter. I like both.

I said that food coat in Orchard are better than the others.
But this time , I was disappointed.

I had Pad thai and Thai milk tea$10.5. Umm, it was fried too much, and little pricey. I didn't like that.

I think that food coats around Orchard MRT station are better than another place. Particularly Takashimaya, Wisma, Ion, Show house have good food coat.

I went to show house's one, I had dry beef noodle$8.9 at Little Hanoi. I forgot to take photos! It was rice noodle with sliced beef, fresh coriander, fried garlic. For me, it was first time to eat , and I hooked on it, it was yummy!! You must try this.

I had usual days, and I was tired to write this. But I've tried a lot of food since last post.

These days I often eat at Cedele. There are a lot of branches in Singapore, and I usually go to Wheelock place branch. It was cozy and not so popular..?, I've never seen full.

I often had today's soup $6++and free bread. There are some kind of free bread and I can take it.  When I'm not so hungry, it's good volume for me.

GInza Bairin @ Ion Orchard

Though I like Singapore, I sometimes miss Japanese food. But they are expensive. Almost set menu are over $20.

On 9,10, 19, 20th of February, 50%off all set menu at Ginza Bairin. I went there 10th of February at 6:00pm. About 15 people were waiting. After 20 minutes, I could sit a table.
I had a seafood fry set. There were 2 pic of oysters and prawns, and of course  rice and miso soup. The usual price was $21 and I got 50% off with showing J Passport. But many other people showed other . Perhaps there were many kinds of promotion.
Anyway my seafood fry was really good. Oysters and seafood were more delicious than Japan.
And when I finished, the que was longer than before. Maybe over 40 people were there!

Guan Chee Hongkong Roast@Ion Orchard

Hi, how are you?

I still tried to complete Food Opera at Ion Orchard.
Today's  challenge was Roasted Pork noodle $6 at Guan Chee Honkong Roast.
The stall was in front of local sweets stall,and  next to beef noodle stall.
Recently I hooked on Roasted Pork, so I tried it.

The Roasted Pork were nice, but small. Noodle was chewy, I liked it. Unfortunately, the source was not good for me. Thanks.

Plain vanilla bakery @ Ion Orchard

Do you have Ion Orchard App?
I often use it to get some promotion. Today I had 1 for 1 sandwich & salad lunch $14 at Plain vanilla bakery in "In good company ".
I had prosciutto sandwich and quinoa salad. Thanks to this promotion I got 2 and I could take away them. That was really nice! Thank you.

Xing Lau seafood white bee hoon @ Food Opera Ion

Hello.
What's your New Years resolution? My resolution is to complete Food Opera.
I've already visited Buk Kut Teh, Fish ball noodle, prawn Mee.
Today I visited Xing Lau Seafood White Bee Hoon.
I had seafood bee Hoon $6.9.

I was surprised! Delicious!! It was my best dish in Singapore 😍
There were some prawn and clam. It was so nice. Thanks.
