MERUTO Cheesecake @ Hong Lim Complex

I was happy today because I had a delicious cheesecake. I love cheesecake and the best one is rare type, next is baked, last one is soufflé type.

In this time, I got a good soufflé type one at Hong Lim Complex. It’s a completely similar to Japanese one. I got a Original $9.8, Oh, price is also same in Japan. That has smooth texture, simply and good. The store stuff was polite, and he is probably singaporean and speaks Japanese  well. That’s impressive.

Hi, Happy Monday.
I had a nice lunch set at Heijoen. There's on the 4th floor Wisma Atria. Though I've been there at lunch time, I didn't had great lunch set like this time. OK, I had $16.9++ Lunch set and It limited 15. Included Salad, Kimchi, Bibimbap, Soup, 4kind of meat, and dessert, free flow corn tea. I think it's a good deal. Their service was also nice and polite. If you want to have this great lunch, you should go there before 12:00pm.

Sanpoutei@Isetan scots

I've wanted to go to Sanpoutei. I usually saw that there was que when I went to Isetan.
I arrived there at 12:30, and I wait 15min. I had Mazesoba. It was little salty, but not so bad. Their service was really nice, I was amazed that their water wasn't tap water, perhaps it's bottled water.

Bari Uma @ Tanglin shopping centre

The Tanglin shopping centre is old shopping mall, there are some oriental carpet shop and money changers and beauty salons. I seldom go there and I didn't know this Ramen shop named Bari Uma. First, I thought that it was Singapore style japanese Ramen. But I was wrong. It was authentic Tonkotsu Ramen. It comes from Hiroshima and Bari Uma means absolutely delicious!
I had Shio Tonkotsu, it was "Bari Uma"! I couldn't imagine I could eat such delicious ramen in abroad. That's amazing. Thanks.

Gudetama cafe @ Suntec City

When I see  Gudetama , I feel happy 😊.Because they're always relaxed and makes me feel at ease. Don't you think so?

Today I went to the Gudetama Cafe at Suntec City. It was just 12:00 o'clock, but already full. I had to wait for 15min.  There were a lot of Gudetama, for example chair, table, wall, how great there were.Though it was full,  I couldn't take photos so many.

I had smoked salmon eggs benedict $26.9++, it was enough to share with two persons. At first, I thought that the dish is not so good , like Pompom Purin cafe. But I was wrong. It was good.
There was only one problem , this cafe was quite cold. My hands and foot got numb with cold. Next time,  when I see Gudetama, I must feel cold.

Anzu@Japan food town

Hi, these days, I was very busy. Because my parents came from Japan and I had to take care of them. It made me great fun, I love my parents,but after that I was really  tired. And I miss seeing them now
😭

I went to Anzu at Japan food town in Wisma atria. I wanted to have their lunch set $15++. It's available only 20 set.
That was amazing! Everything were authentic Japanese dish. Take a look this photo.
Thin-sliced cabbage and hot green tea can refill free. It was worth eating. Thanks.

Kyushu pancake@Novena

I went to Kyushu pancake which is famous among japanese Wife.
There is close to Novena MRT station.

I had a Kyushu good Ol'Classc $8.5++. I have to order at cashier but they set service charge.There were some kind of pancake, with berry, ice, bacon, egg etc. But all of them were over $16-17++. So I had plane one.
Actually that was nothing special, simple pancake. Of course I like that. But I don't want to go there and eat again. Because I can cook like that. Thanks.

GInza Bairin @ Ion Orchard

Though I like Singapore, I sometimes miss Japanese food. But they are expensive. Almost set menu are over $20.

On 9,10, 19, 20th of February, 50%off all set menu at Ginza Bairin. I went there 10th of February at 6:00pm. About 15 people were waiting. After 20 minutes, I could sit a table.
I had a seafood fry set. There were 2 pic of oysters and prawns, and of course  rice and miso soup. The usual price was $21 and I got 50% off with showing J Passport. But many other people showed other . Perhaps there were many kinds of promotion.
Anyway my seafood fry was really good. Oysters and seafood were more delicious than Japan.
And when I finished, the que was longer than before. Maybe over 40 people were there!

Lounge @ The Japanese Association

Hi, how are you. It was very hot today.

A lot of Japanese in Singapore are joined in The Japanese Association.
The Clubhouse is beside the Adam road.
There are library and restaurant, karaoke room. And a lot of seminars and culture lessons have been held there.

I went to Lounge room, and enjoyed tea time.
I had strawberry shortcake $5.6+, Earl Grey $2.5+. Cake was from  Rive Gauche (it's Japanese company ), it was nice. Tea was served by pot, the price was too cheap !
There were many comics and magazines. It has a cozy atmosphere. I had a good time, thanks.

POMPOM PRIN Cafe @ Orchard central #04-08

Happy new year.
From Jan.1, it rains every day. It's bad😫.

I'll post about POMPOM PRIN Cafe today. Do you know about POMPOM PRIN? It's a cute Sanrio mascot from  Golden Retreiver. It is one of the popular mascot.

POMPOM PRIN Cafe is on the 4th floor in Orchard Central. The gate was cute, it makes me excited.
I ordered Hamburg Rice$16.99++.
Though it was busy, I took it about half an hour.  The dish was so photogenic, but taste was so-so.
I think here is not so much restaurant as amusement park. Thanks.

Heijoen@Japan Food Town Wisma Atria

I want to eat some special meat.... In that time I usually go to the Japanese style BBQ.
It's not cheap, but it will be satisfied me💕

I went to Heijoen at Japan Food Town in Wisma Atria. We had "Nagomi lunch set" $19.9++, and " Beef Kalbi lunch set"$17.9++ for two persons.

They served with rice , soup, salad and Kimuchi. The Meat was delicious, it was melt in my mouth.
But their potion was small, I need more meat! Thanks.

Ramen Tsuta @ Shaw centre 228208

I had Michelin star Ramen at Tsuta in Shaw Centre.
It open at 11:00am, I went there 15 minutes before. While I was waiting, I received menu. So I was enjoyed choosing. There were 15 people, as soon as it opened I could sit on the table.
Before I sat down, I must buy the tickets .The waterless helped me to operate the ticket machine.

I had ajitama shoyu $16.8, and my Friend had shio one.
Shoyu Ramen was clearly soup, and sliced pork, ajitama, Mitsuba. Noodle was thin type.
The taste was so-so. For me, the soup was not so hot.
This Ramen is Tokyo style and there are a lot of kind of Ramen in Japan . Tsuta is popular in Japan, but I prefer to  Tonkotsu Ramen, like Ichiran(Hakata),  Kuroiwa (Kagoshima). Anyway I was happy to eat Michelin Ramen. Thanks.

Numazu Uogashi@100AM Tanjong Pagar

Numazu city is in Shizuoka prefecture. There is a big fishing port and a lot of sushi restaurants around there. Numazu Uogashi is one of them. They have many blanch anywhere.
At 100 AM in Tanjong Pagar is their first blanch overseas.

I read some bloggers articles, there is opening promotion lunch set. So I went. Unfortunately there wasn't opening promotion, I had lunch set $20++. It was served with miso soup.

The difference of Numazu Uogashi is big slice fish, and this sushi was same as well. Tuna, prawn, salmon etc. The were all fresh. In addition, free flow green tea was $0. Oh, It's japanese style. Thanks.

Rang Mang Shokudo@Japan food town

You know a lot about Japanese food, don't you?
Sushi, Tenpura, Tonkatsu....off course,they are famous japanese food. But this time, I will show you one of the popular food for us. It's Karaage which is deeply fried chicken.

Rang Mang Shokudo is in the Japan Food Town @ Wisma atria.
There were some kind of Karaage. I usually eat salt  or soy saurce taste. Rang Mang Shokudo has also tarakomayo, honey mustard, yuzu peppers, curry saurce...and so on.
Though they were very interested, I had salt one.
Outside was crispy and inside was juicy. Salt taste was nice, not only salt, I felt some seasoning. There were 4 pieces of chicken and green salad, potato salad, and rice or gokokumai (brown rice) $10.9. The chicken was big, I couldn't eat all😆
It was delicious, so I took out  soy sauce taste. Thanks.

LeTAO @ Ion Orchard

Hello!
I'm looking forward to eat  LeTAO in Singapore. Finally, it has opened today at Ion Orchard B1.
There is near the Coffee Bean.
At 10:00 am, I expected long que, but there weren't any customers. So I could buy soon.
I didn't believe that. When I lived in Japan, LeTAO pop  up shop sometimes came to my town. And there were a lot of people. Because LeTAO's Cheesecake was worth buying.

Almost Singaporean have not known about that..?
Anyway I am happy to buy it. Thanks.

Today's post is about my favourite sweets shop "Pantler ".
Of course You know it, don't you?

I like strawberry shortcake best. Pantler's one is superb.
Cream was like snow and sponge cake melted in my mouth as soon as I ate.
The strawberry....that was different from Singapore's it. It was really flavourful!
I was happy to eat such delicious sweets. Thanks 🙏

Hi, how was your Tuesday?
In Japan, earthquake happened this morning and small Tsunami occurred. I worried about it .
Fortunately No one died this disaster.

I like dry noodle better than soup one. I tried mazesoba at Kajiken.
There was at Orchid Hotel in Tanjong Pagar.
Kajiken is famous for Taiwan mazesoba. There are some stall in Japan, but first time for me.
I had Original Mazesoba. That was like Korean cold noodle.
But that wasn't like it at all. Before eat, I had to mix 20 Sec.
And The taste was rich , noodle was chewy. I ate it right up.
At the end, I asked oimeshi, and mixed with sauce. That was simplest dish but nice.
I had a great lunch time. Thanks.

Please don't confuse Japan Foods Garden with Japan Food Town.
Garden is show centre, Town is Wisma Atria.

In this time, I had Tendon at Tenka in Japan Food Town.
Tendon was weekday promotions $13.8++.

Prawn and vegetable tempura were on the rice. For me, that portion was good, but some people feel small. The source was nice, sweet and flavourful. If you want much more sources , you can pour it on your own.  And there was japanese pickles on the table, it was free. I loved it very much.

Teppanyaki Gyu Tetsu @ Japan Foods Garden

This is the 2nd post about Japan Foods Garden.
In this time, I visited Teppanyaki Gyu Tetsu. It was japanese style steak, the cook grilled steak in front of customers. I had Wagyu steak $18.8 and seafood udon $8.
During cook, I enjoyed watching and smelling.
Wagyu steak was yummy, and suppressing for me, seafood udon was  fantastic .
You should definitely try it, it was good for beers. Thanks.

Hi, how was your Monday?
It was really humid today.

Actually, I love Tonkatsu but it has high calorie.so I don't eat it often.
I ate Tonkatsu for the first time in a while.
I had "Hirekatsu set" at Tonkichi in Orchard Central.

It was authentic Tonkatsu, served with sliced cabbage.
 I ground roasted sesame, and add the source. I dipped it to Tonkatsu.
That was really good, oh, making my mouth water 😆
The price was $22++, it's ok. Thanks.
