Hai Di Lao Hot Pot @IMM

Hello.
You think Singapore is hot, don't you? That's right , outside is hot, but in the building, restaurant etc. everywhere keep cool.I sometimes need hot ( not spicy) food.

Hai Di Lao Hot Pot is famous Chinese restaurant.
I went to one of them in IMM.
It was at 11:30 on Monday, there are some customers, but after 1hour it was almost full. So I didn't wait, I couldn't get some complimentary service, nail colour, Ice cream, snacks 😅

At first, I had to choose soup, I choose chicken soup.
2nd, I had to choose ingredients, I choose vegetables and meet, fishball, noodle.
At last, I ordered self service seasoning. It was some source and condiment and spice. I can take them. And some fruits and sweet were included with it.

Hot pot was yummy, and noodle meister made noodles in front of me. That was amazing, nice performance.

The price was $110/3 parsons. I really enjoyed this lunch, I'd like to go again.

Bread talk

Hi, how is your day?

Of course, you know about bread talk. There are a lot of shops in the mall.
Today, I bought a bread at the bread talk.
The bread was named "Earthquake toast ".
Why was it named earthquakes, it was just cheese bread. That's funny 😆

A Noodle Story@Amoy street food centre

Hi.
The last article of Amoy tour is"A Noodle Story".

They served only 1menu, it was noodle.
I was almost full, so I had small size $ 5.9.

Topping was spring egg and prawn wonton , crispy potato wrapped prawn and cha-su pork. They were all yummy.
I don't like this noodle, I prefer egg noodle like Kajiken.
And soup was too mild, I like more salty.
Anyway, this noodle was good for hawker centre.

It's curry puff. Do you like it?I like it so-so.

I had crispy chicken curry puff $1.2 at J2 crispy curry puff .
As you know, it was crispy and good taste. I couldn't stop eating.

HOO KEE BAK CHANG@Amoy street food centre

Hello, TGIF!  Weekend is coming.

In Singapore, I have to eat a lot of kind of food. So I'm busy every day 😅
This time I tried to eat at Amoy street food centre.
There are some Michelin stall.

I had rice dumplings at HOO KEE BAK CHANG.
Original was chestnut and pork$2.8
Salted egg yolk was added with original $ 3.6
Mashrooms added with original $3.6

It was wrapped with  bamboo leaf, and pork was soft, 4-5 pieces of chestnut were inside it.
It was so yummy. This food  is worth eating . Thanks.

Hello!

Today's post is about my favourite sweets shop "Pantler ".
Of course You know it, don't you?

I like strawberry shortcake best. Pantler's one is superb.
Cream was like snow and sponge cake melted in my mouth as soon as I ate.
The strawberry....that was different from Singapore's it. It was really flavourful!
I was happy to eat such delicious sweets. Thanks 🙏

Kajiken@Tanjong Pagar

Hi, how was your Tuesday?
In Japan, earthquake happened this morning and small Tsunami occurred. I worried about it .
Fortunately No one died this disaster.

I like dry noodle better than soup one. I tried mazesoba at Kajiken.
There was at Orchid Hotel in Tanjong Pagar.
Kajiken is famous for Taiwan mazesoba. There are some stall in Japan, but first time for me.
I had Original Mazesoba. That was like Korean cold noodle.
But that wasn't like it at all. Before eat, I had to mix 20 Sec.
And The taste was rich , noodle was chewy. I ate it right up.
At the end, I asked oimeshi, and mixed with sauce. That was simplest dish but nice.
I had a great lunch time. Thanks.

Tenka@Japan Food Town

Please don't confuse Japan Foods Garden with Japan Food Town.
Garden is show centre, Town is Wisma Atria.

In this time, I had Tendon at Tenka in Japan Food Town.
Tendon was weekday promotions $13.8++.

Prawn and vegetable tempura were on the rice. For me, that portion was good, but some people feel small. The source was nice, sweet and flavourful. If you want much more sources , you can pour it on your own.  And there was japanese pickles on the table, it was free. I loved it very much.

Teppanyaki Gyu Tetsu @ Japan Foods Garden

This is the 2nd post about Japan Foods Garden.
In this time, I visited Teppanyaki Gyu Tetsu. It was japanese style steak, the cook grilled steak in front of customers. I had Wagyu steak $18.8 and seafood udon $8.
During cook, I enjoyed watching and smelling.
Wagyu steak was yummy, and suppressing for me, seafood udon was  fantastic .
You should definitely try it, it was good for beers. Thanks.

KOMALA'S Deli @ Tanglin Mall

Hello! How are you doing this weekend?
I've stopped to post since last week. I had shock about Yuri on Ice!!!.
OMG.. I didn't believe their kiss 😱

Anyway, I went to Tanglin Mall to have lunch. I heard that food court in Tanglin Mall has western food stall. I wanted to eat something like macaroni gratin and humburg steak.
At B1 floor, there was a food court, exactly some western food stall are there.
Fish and chips, pasta...but I found an interesting food then.
It was in Indian stall and the food was "Bhattura". It looked like balloons and big!
Of course I ordered it , it was $5, served with curry sauce and lime and Chilli and onions.
Bhattura was deep fried naan. It was so-so, and very oily.
But I couldn't stop to order, because it was really photogenic! Thanks.

Soup restaurant @Paragon

Hi, how was your day?

Orchard is cerebrating Christmas, it's so beautiful. A lot of people had their selfies, and enjoyed owns Christmas.
At Paragon, it was showy decitation. There was pop up shop of Metro department store and M&S.
A lot of people were there, but almost people had selfies, instead shopping 😅

Anyway, I tried ginger chicken @ Soup restaurant in Paragon B1.
I've known about gingers sauce of Soup restaurant, but I've not eaten it.
I saw ginger chicken in sone guide books.
The ginger chicken, it was steamed chicken and sliced cucumbers and ginger sauce served with lettuce. The ginger sauce was particularly delicious. It made from ginger, garlic and so on, and not so spicy and salty, yummy sauce.
I had also ginger fried rice. It probably used ginger sauce, also yummy.
I knew the reason why the sauce so popular!
I'd like to buy the sauce. Thanks!

Hello, what are you doing today?

I went to Hand in Hand@Jalan Besar.
I had Fried dumplings  $7.2, pan-fried Baozi stuffed with Pork and chicken Saurce 5, sea food fried rice $7. I took away them.
At home, the plastic case of pan fried Baozi was melt, befor I found it, I ate😱
It  melt by hot foods...I was worried about my tummy.
The taste was good, so I will eat in restaurant next time.

Hello, it was great day today.

I went to Jin Thompson. I heard a lot about here before. It was fancy Thai restaurant and there are authentic Thai food.
I think almost Thai food in Singapore is comparatively reasonable price.
So I don't have to go fancy Thai restaurant.
But this time, my Friend wanted to go there, so I did.

At noon, there were some group, and after, the tables were almost full.
I had Shiam Set Lunch $32++.
 Lemongrass Juice smelled fresh. Tom yam Goong was tomato base soup and hot.
Green curry was also hot and delicious.
Goong phad pong gari was fried egg with prawn and tomatoes. It was sweet and flavourful dish.
Dessert was ... BuBur Cha Cha? I was tired it.
Anyway I satisfied food and service. Thanks.

Hi, how was your Monday?
It was really humid today.

Actually, I love Tonkatsu but it has high calorie.so I don't eat it often.
I ate Tonkatsu for the first time in a while.
I had "Hirekatsu set" at Tonkichi in Orchard Central.

It was authentic Tonkatsu, served with sliced cabbage.
 I ground roasted sesame, and add the source. I dipped it to Tonkatsu.
That was really good, oh, making my mouth water 😆
The price was $22++, it's ok. Thanks.

Baked cheese tarte@ chateraise

Hello.
Was cheese tarte long gone?
I have not eaten it yet. So I tried it.

 "BAKE"@Ion was so crowded, that I went to Chateraise@Isetan.
The baked cheese tarte was $3, ...high. Because of all the other sweets were reasonable. But cheese tarte wasn't.
Taste was good, but I didn't understand that difference from baked cheese cake.
Is that same, isn't it??

Next time, I'll try BAKE! Thanks.

Empress@Asian civilisation museum

Hello, how was your weekend?

I went to Empress at Asian Civilisations museums.
There was river side and good atmosphere.

I had 3 courses set lunch $38++.
1st was dim sum platter, it was so-so. I wanted some more.

2nd was small 3 dishes. When I saw it, I was disappointed at the amount.
But right one was rice, I was almost full.

The last one was of course dessert. Wasn't it Bubur Char Char which was local sweets?
It was OK.
Overall, I didn't satisfy every portion. There weren't specialty dish.
But location was very nice. I would like to try another dish. Thanks.

The Long bar @ Raffles Hotel

Hello, how's your Thursday?

What do you think about Raffles Hotel. For me, it's a novel of Ryu Murakami.
I forgot that story, but I remember the title. Probably, younger people don't know this novel 😅

By the way, the Long bar is one of the famous bar in the world, and Singapore sling is signature cocktail of It. It was so pricy, $31++!
I only live once, I tried it.
It was jin based cocktails and I felt pineapple Flavours. It was sweet and fresh.

Hi, I have a lot of things to post, but I'm tired.
Arteastiq is good cafe to relax and chatting. The sofa is comfortable, waiter is friendly.

I had weekday brunch "flight fantasy "$16++. It can order from 11am to 13:30pm.
It was fried egg with potatoes, salad and include special tea. I ordered lycée tea.
The usual price of Lycée tea is $11. This brunch is worth eating. Thanks.

Helllo, how's it going?

I like Bak Kut Teh , so today I went to Song Fa which is most famous Bak Kut Teh restaurant.
On lunch time , there are always Long que.  In this time I went to eat brunch.
Buk Kut Teh was really good, soup was little spicy, meat was soft.
I ate it with rice,so yummy 😋 thanks.

Watch concept @ Lucky plaza

Hi, how's it going?
Is it weekday today, isn't it? Why are there so many people in town?
Anyway, I have to exchange battery of my watch. I searched on line, and I decided to go "watch concept" @ lucky plaza(#02-01).

As soon as I asked, the man who wore a Doctors coat was exchanged the batteries.
After about 5 minutes, I received my watch. The price was $20.
On the internet , it was $10 but it posted in 2014,it has gained since then. No problem, thanks.
